It's very good, as is the service when you're finally fortunate enough to be admitted or enter the restaurant. During peak hours, it takes between 1 and 1:45 a.m. to enter and place your order. The dishes are varied and tasty, and the prices are affordable and appropriate for the area. But if you're in a hurry or have an urgent appetite, and you're not very patient, look for another option during peak hours. Sorry, but that's how it is. I go almost every year for that reason.

Well, this is a "La flor café", so that means you should know what to expect; a nice meal, good service, and a familiar-looking place.It may get a bit crowded, and the immediately adjacent parking spaces may be taken, but toher than that is the whole deal.

Discrimination at Café de la Flor? We went to eat on Sunday and already knew we'd have to wait, but it wasn't that long, since they moved us to the back, which I didn't even know existed. There's no air conditioning. The sun shines through the windows, and since the fans didn't provide enough air, they opened the windows so all the street noise came in, along with the super uncomfortable chairs and tables. The point is, in that ugly place, there were free tables—several in fact—and there were people waiting outside, and then I realized, only certain people with certain characteristics were allowed in that place, and other people were allowed in the comfortable restaurant. I felt excluded, uncomfortable. We didn't eat well. There were only three of us women, but we had a really bad time. I have photos, but I don't think I can upload them here.

They make me wait when the restaurant isn't even half full. The service is slow, both in taking my order and in delivering the food. The salad I ordered wasn't the right temperature; it was lukewarm, with wilted lettuce and half the plate hot. If you're short on time to eat, going there isn't the best option.

I want to congratulate the excellent service we received yesterday, as we told the waiter that the young birthday girl was turning 18 and the waiter's detail was to give a slice of cake as a surprise to my daughter who was celebrating her birthday and he made those present sing "las mañanitas" to her and that was a nice detail on the part of the waiter and whenever we go out to eat they always give us good service.
