Visited November 2024. Just getting the chance to review. We found this restaurant by chance when driving back to our Airbnb. Located on the corner. Parking is street. Can be tough to find. But it was early. Not much in the way of vegetarian. I had a pupusa. It was good. Plantains. My daughter had an empanada which was a bit dry. My husband had some kind of wrap. It wasn’t good. Horchata was unusual. They also had coffee to take home. We purchased few bags.My Salvadorian fiancee snd I landed for the first time in Paseo del Carmen and saw the great reviews of Cafe La Casona - it did not let us down. The omelette was delicious as well as the homemade pupusas, and their strong coffee.The prices are quite good, the coffee is delicious and for a dollar you can enjoy it and have it with a dessert which would be extra, but the food is the best, the service is the best.Don't hold events in this place, one makes the deal and suddenly they cancel without giving an explanation.Very nice placeI couldn't enter due to lack of parking 😞
