The empanadas are low-quality, and when they bring you the bill, it's on a random piece of paper, completely blacked out. They charge a 10% service fee, which they don't mention anywhere on the menu. They don't charge you by card, which would be a mandatory tip and in cash. It's a very bad attitude toward customers, with a terrible waiter. 👎
The food was exquisite, the service was very good, recommended
Excellent regional food. Very nice atmosphere. More than reasonable prices.
All cards have different prices
The food was delicious, and the waiter's service was equally as good. But they ripped me off for 20,000 pesos. The menu stated one price, and when I paid, it was another price plus a 10 percent service charge, which wasn't explained anywhere. On top of that, I left a tip. So, out of the 34,000 pesos I was supposed to pay, it ended up being 52,000. It's a shame because I always bought food there. They thought I was from another country, and I clarified I was Argentinian. I think they lost a customer who always comes to Buenos Aires to eat there because their food is delicious.
We had a reservation for a birthday party at 12:30 p.m., and when we arrived, the place was closed. We had to leave and go somewhere else. After complaining on Instagram, they later replied that they had opened later because they had arrived late due to a Father's Day celebration the night before. We found the response to be unserious and quite unfortunate. When you make a reservation, you make a commitment. Problems can arise, but it's appropriate to give minimal notice. There was no intention of compensating for this incident either.
DISASTER! Customer communication was a disaster. I had a reservation for today at 12:30 pm. I arrived on time, and everything was OFF. I thought it was closed, and they never told me (it could have been a holiday, but they had confirmed my reservation). Obviously, I went somewhere else because it was cold and all the lights were off, so I didn't think they would open. I sent them a WhatsApp asking, and they responded hours later saying they were open, but the opening was delayed due to STAFF DELAYS. The excuse was that since it was Father's Day yesterday, there were celebrations, and today they were delayed. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Couldn't they have notified me? Knowing I had a reservation, they could have sent me a message as soon as they knew about the problem and the delay in opening. As a customer, you stick to the schedule and try not to be late because if you arrive more than 15 minutes after your reservation time, you lose your reservation. They don't care about the customer here. I wouldn't come back.
Wonderful food, with special mention for the empanadas (which I didn't even have time to take a picture of, haha). Perfect service in Portuguese, with recommendations from the waiter. The bread is also divine. This restaurant is definitely worth adding to your travel itinerary.
The empanadas are good. The service is good!
There's nothing Argentine about it. Or maybe it's because of how cheap they are. It's just a tourist attraction. The dishes aren't regional at all, the portions are small, and they're expensive on top of that. The surprise comes when you ask for the bill, and they add a 10% "service" fee (and I thought they did it to me because I had a second panera bread, but I see it's for everyone 🤣)
