The food is delicious, but it needed more spice, and the shawarma leaves a lot to be desired. The service could be better, as they weren't attentive, didn't take our drink orders, and were missing cutlery when the food arrived.

Authentic Arabic food, delicious, highly recommended

International cuisine is always difficult to replicate, especially when you're in a place like Santa Marta, where seafood takes precedence if you're on a trip. And yet, we ended up going to this place twice during our short stay in the city because we simply didn't want to eat anywhere else. The falafel is perhaps the best I've had in Colombia, along with the hummus and the berry drinks (I can't remember exactly what they're called on the menu). They were the perfect combination, full of flavor without being overwhelming. It doesn't seem like a large portion, but the plate is quite filling, so I would even recommend sharing a portion if you don't have a big appetite. Highly recommended for both the delicious food and the calm and pleasant atmosphere. If you're missing something, the desserts are totally worth it, but I must warn you that they're not for palates that easily become cloying, as they're quite sweet.
