Very surprised by this place. I had a coffee here that was better than many fancy coffee shops I've been to. I came for breakfast and tried an alfajor; it was so delicious we went back for lunch to have another one. The chocolate cake is also spectacular. Also, the service came with a smile :)It has options for breakfast, lunch or snacksDuring busy hours, the quality of service drops noticeably.I just had the daily plate “plato del día” delivered to me and I was surprised at how bad the service was.
The dish, Milanesa and Ensalada Rusa costs 15 Soles and 3 Soles Delivery, but it started out by being told different prices when I ordered. About 23 soles plus delivery extra. Okay, someone wanted to earn some extra propina, but it's just not a nice way to do it that way when there's a fixed price. Propina is available later and the customer decides how much.
What came an hour later was a salad without marinade and a dry schnitzel on dry rice. No ají, no marinade and not even, as usual, a piece of lemon for the schnitzel.Went there twice. food is good and they have a big menu.Good food and excellent service 👍Great little cafe at the back of a supermarket. Even though it is in a supermarket it doesn’t feel hectic or lack the good vibe for a morning coffee. Coffee was great and the avocado on toast with scrambled eggs was so delicious. Good prices. Service was fast and waiters were friendly. We arrive in Iquitos very early (too early for check in) and were grateful that this place opened early. Affordable Plato del día also (although I did not try it).
