The service is good.The seasoning of the ají de gallina, the northern goat, and a delicious rice pudding are very good.Nice and central placeFirst time I tried a fish that left you feeling like you were passing bleach, the cook indicated that this was the flavor of butter tollo, but I don't think this was the reason, the fish was decomposing and they didn't give us any solution, the waiter tried to compensate us with a dessert, but there was no way to accept that decomposing dish.Awful ! The fish chicharrón smelled terrible as if it smelled like bleach. When I asked, they told me that this was what butter tollo tasted like, I didn't end up eating a disaster 🤢Great food! And the attention too 🙂🙂Papa a la Huancaína is recommended. Everything is very good!Went there for coffee and cake as a couple on the occasion of a visit 3 weeks ago as a European tourist and after several disappointments in this regard in the city, it was a real treat, an oasis of rest and relaxation.
If the name means "little Rome", then the atmosphere really does justice to it, it is reminiscent of traditional Italian cafés of earlier years and is very beautiful. The service (in the early afternoon) was first class and attentive, the coffee cortado and cake were delicious and therefore a wonderful, successful end to a stay of several days in Chiclayo, thank you!
