Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Mexico. I've eaten at some of the best in the country, but Alcalde's food, in my opinion, is a step ahead, not only because of the incredible conceptualization of the food, with a strong regional Mexican identity taken to the next level with an international fusion and very high-level techniques and great sensitivity. It's worth noting that it's not only pleasing to the eye (including a very good selection of tableware and cutlery), but it also achieves something that few restaurants or chefs can: high-concept food that is DELICIOUS. Fortunately, here you don't sacrifice one for the other, and the prices, compared to some other lower-level but equally renowned restaurants, are very affordable, in my opinion. Congratulations on what you've achieved; it's truly spectacular.

The staff is outstanding, making you feel comfortable at all times. Despite high demand, they've never asked us to leave to give up our table. Their food is undoubtedly of outstanding quality; it's a must-experience if you're visiting Guadalajara. They have the best desserts in the city, and the presentation of the dishes is exquisite and artistic. It's a place you'll return to and be amazed again.
