The place is fine, the lady who served me was very attentive. Unfortunately, I decided to order a lagsaña, which is only lagsaña in name. I calmly explained to the lady—obviously not her fault—that it was anything but the dish I ordered. Anyway, I had to pay 35 soles (I've had some very good 18-year-old lagsañas). I don't think I'll be back.Great food and enormous portions, so order carefully. The venison steak was definitely the highlight of my dinner. They offer al fresco dining as well as interior.The chicken soup (Caldo de Gallina) is soooo gooood and im not a big fan of cilantro (i dont have the gene poor me). The chicken and all ingredients fresh!
The guy who helped me was so patient (i hardly speak spanish) although he spoke better english than i speak spanish- shame on me.
They have 2.5L water bottles. The pineapple juice is tasty tasty!
This restaurant was a recommendation by someone on reddit.
Anyway I'll be back next Iquitos visit.
✌🏾🫶🏾The chef needs to taste the food he is making. It is far too salty.Good for those needing a meal designed for ayahuasca dieta. There is a section in the menu for those about to go into the jungle tour sit with medicine. I got the patarascha fish which is the cut of a paiche fish wrapped in tomatoes and onions inside a leaf. It came with a side of steamed veggies.A year ago I went to a very delicious breakfast, highly recommended and a good place.Best food and service in Iquitos! Huge menu.I arrived in Iquitos on a very early Saturday morning and it was 1 of the only 2 places open in the center. But the North American vibe pulled me in and I decided to have breakfast here. I ordered an Amazonian breakfast and it was filling, well paid. The owner of the place is quite friendly and I have yet to visit at night to try the drinks and use the billiards.
