Simple environment, for few people. Good service, delicious food and good prices.
Excellent cuisine. Good service.
The food is delicious and exactly what you'd expect from the place. I'll be back on future trips to Recife.
We arrived at the restaurant and there was a waiting list. We decided to wait. We were the third table in line. We had to wait about 30 minutes, but we were ready to get to know the restaurant. We had to go talk to the waiters because they don't communicate well. The first one put us in line, and the other one simply started pushing people who arrived after us to the front. When the table was "free", the waiter said he would be back to clean it, and there went another 10 minutes of waiting until I had to go and ask them to please clean the table so we could sit down.As soon as we sat down, we ordered: bobeira soup, plantain ceviche and an individual acaraje, as well as two Coca-Colas and a caipirinha. We also took the opportunity to order the seafood feijoada as a main course. The soup and drinks arrived quickly, maybe 5 minutes each, but the rest of the starters took 50 minutes. When we asked questions, the answer was always "it's coming out" without any further information. The main order came out more than 1 hour and 20 minutes after we ordered it. I didn't even take pictures of the other dishes because we were already starving after waiting more than 2 hours from when we got to the restaurant until we could eat. The food is undoubtedly very tasty, well seasoned, and the portions are good for a fair price. However, the service is disorganized and slow, and the place needs to be cleaned more carefully. We sat at a table in the front garage, which was full of flies and had a lot of dirt on the floor that wasn't cleaned up. Also, because it was outside, the service was worse, because the waiters only came when they were going to deliver food, which wasn't very often.Overall, I don't feel like going back, because even though the food is good, it's not worth the time I spent starving for it.
A very cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and wonderful service. The value for money is incredible.
I could say a lot, but I'll summarize: I felt like I was in a kitchen nightmare. I won't be back, and I don't recommend it.
Wonderful cuisine, good prices and good vibes.
Spectacular food
The best restaurant I've ever eaten at. Prices are in line with the quality, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I ate the perfect amount of Acarajé, and I also ordered the sururu stew with farofa and mixed it with the acarajé, which created an explosion of flavor. I also tried the sampler that mixes seafood and meat, which makes for a complete experience. As a main course, I had the caymme rice, which was magnificent, and to finish off, I also had the erê feast to complete the best lunch I've ever had in a restaurant.I highly recommend it to everyone. The best gastronomic experience of my life, and I've tried countless cuisines from different countries, so I thought the least I could do was praise this experience.Congratulations!!!
