Drinks – I had the Benito and the Durango. The Benito was great, well-balanced and flavorful. The Durango, on the other hand, leaned a bit too sweet—more like a mocktail—and I barely tasted the gin.Food – We ordered the Camarones a la Diabla and Pulpo Glaseado a las Brasas. Portions were very small. Flavor-wise, they were okay—not bad, but nothing memorable. For the same price, you could definitely have a better meal at a Michelin-rated spot in Tulum.Overall, I think is worth to try once but I don’t think I’ll be coming back for a second meal.My family is from Mexico City, so I'm extremely discerning about my Mexican food. Historically, I've never recommended any Mexican restaurant in El Salvador because I've always been very disappointed. Not AZTECA! Wow... We did the Viaje a México menus (there are 2) and shared. The flavors are amazing, authentic, and they did not shy away from the heat/picante! Cannot recommend this place more. It's on the pricier side, but if you want real Mexican vibrant flavors, you must try it.We visited this place to celebrate Mother's Day 2025. We made the reservation by phone the day before, but at no time were we informed that there would be a set menu with only one meal option. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see that the place was completely empty. Upon sitting down and requesting the menu, we were informed that they only offered one option, which included seafood. This turned out to be a problem, as some of those present do not consume shellfish due to allergies.It exceeded my expectations.
