Great food and service, but very dark environment.
Wonderful signature dishes! We had the Chocolate Filet, a delicious dish prepared with dark chocolate, a bold and very tasty combination! We also had the Whiskey Steak, which was also divine! Excellent service, intimate atmosphere. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended, for sure!
Amazing experience, atmosphere and service I can say sensational… If I'm not mistaken the waiter's name is Miguel, I loved it! Super friendly and helps us a lot in choosing everything. The atmosphere doesn't leave anything to be desired, perfect food! 🤍
The food options are always of good quality, and the service is excellent (Miguel, for example). I highly recommend it. I will always come back, it continues with the same quality and special attention from Miguel and Paulino.
Sensational!
Very nice place, very good music, great service and delicious food.
By a journalist, critic and lover of good food – who left Teresina with much more to offer than just a couple’s menu.Initially, it was just going to be a trip for two. A breather, a new destination to explore with my wife. But Fortaleza, as always, knows how to transform any break into something bigger. What started as a casual search for a place to have dinner, turned into a sensory, emotional and – why not? – unforgettable experience.Returning to this city without a set frequency always leaves me with that accumulated curiosity. I feel like I never stay long enough to explore every corner, every cuisine. But, when I heard my companion – a gastronome, born critic, tourism expert and master in the art of planning trips – recommend a discreet, almost intimate restaurant, I was overcome by that instinct I usually have: “if she said it, it’s too good to ignore”. And it really was.BalconY, even before being served at the table, already fed us something that reminded us of the beginning of our story. The place had an air of remembrance, of a new beginning and, at the same time, of discovery. There, we made the decision that it would be unacceptable not to share this experience – such was the coherence between the reviews surrounding it and the reality we experienced there, from beginning to end.Right away, the concise and well-presented menu won us over. Without beating around the bush, but with a wealth of information, each dish carried a rare confidence. I ordered, on impulse, a Licor 43 to accompany the reading of the menu. Coffee and liqueur before the meal? Maybe, but when everything conspires in your favor, even impulses are right. The cuisine that respects the ingredient and those who savor it.I started with the sun-dried meat croquettes, an appetizer I had already heard of from other restaurants, but which here was absolutely outstanding. The waiter Fagner, with a welcoming smile and a "value what is ours" message, made the recommendation. The portion was just right for sharing, with a juicy interior and soft texture, wrapped in a perfect technical crunch: thin, dry and precise. The meat's strong flavor was balanced with the mild smokiness of the provolone cheese, a bold but very correct choice, which brought moisture and intensity. The main doubt on the menu was between the porcini mushroom risotto and the pork with passion fruit aroma. But as my companion always says, "ratatouille is your comfort zone". And there was no other way: I went straight for the Tagliatelle Ratatouille – and what a choice! The dish came in a generous portion, with the vegetables cooked just right: al dente, vibrant and with their natural sweetness preserved. The sauce, extremely aromatic, was reminiscent of the Mediterranean terroir, with tomatoes and olive oil (I'm never satisfied and always add more in cases like this) in perfect emulsion. The tagliatelle, with its silky and firm texture, carried the strength of the dish with ease. It was a dish full of seasoning, but without excess – the kind that respects the customer’s taste and time. And the most impressive thing: even when sharing the dish, it didn’t get cold. The temperature remained the same, as if time had stopped there.Finishing with affection is also an art.To finish, we had vanilla ice cream with crumble and hot chocolate sauce, and cheese ice cream with guava sauce. Incredibly creamy ice creams, with faint noticeable crystals that indicated artisanal preparation or cold-grilled gelato. No industrial flavors overpowered. If they were homemade, they are worthy of awards. If industrialized, they are the best I have ever tasted. But the moment that seals it all is small, intimate and almost cinematic: Fagner returns to the table, subtly, and whispers: “This ice cream goes well with coffee.” And there it was in a few minutes: the perfect coffee, the finishing touches that you can't read on the menu. That's what true personalized service is all about. It's about listening, understanding, caring. (...) More reviews on TripAdvisor
