I visited the restaurant on Saint John's Day with the intention of treating my mom to a typical jungle meal for this special occasion. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find a restaurant bar with extremely loud music, rather than a family atmosphere. While I understand that I was part of the celebration, I felt the space wasn't adequately equipped for this type of event.The service wasn't what I remembered from my first visit, where I was treated very kindly. This time, the service was more distant. The food took a while to arrive, and unfortunately, the flavor didn't meet our expectations: I didn't get that characteristic jungle seasoning, and the dish was quite greasy. I also found traces of foam on the cutlery, something I chose not to mention at the time so as not to upset my mom, who would surely have complained under different circumstances.The experience wasn't what I expected, especially considering that on a previous visit, I had left with a very positive impression. This time, however, I was disappointed.It's a place where you can eat typical jungle food. It has a variety of dishes and aphrodisiac drinks, excellent for coming with your partner or company.
The food is good. I ordered a platter where everything came, such as tacacho with cured meat, juane, and other toppings.
Regarding the atmosphere, the entertainment is good, but the place is very small. I went on a Sunday and had to wait a long time. It was an excellent experience, I totally recommend the place.The place is far from the center of Tacna, but it is worth visiting. There was a good DJ, although it was a little hot inside, the good thing is that there are fans. The waiters were very attentive, the food was good, as was the aguaje soft drink. They gave us a few complimentary glasses of exotic drinks. In fact, I would return.Very pleasant experience, very well attended and very delicious food and drinks, needless to say, I would return every time I come to Peru 🫶
