I expected more. When we arrived, we were well received, but then the waiters took a while, and we were left waiting. I had the ossobuco, but found it a bit salty.I ordered an espresso after a while, but I finally gave up. We decided it was best to pay the bill and leave.

On that occasion I ate a mafaldine pasta that was very well made, which will remind me of this nice restaurant. Adding to that the fair price, pleasant atmosphere and good service, I would go back to try other dishes

I went to the place with high expectations after months of hearing good things from friends. Weaknesses: - The wine list was full of expensive options. I was hoping for mid-range options. I recommend taking inspiration from the menu at Atelier de Massas, for example. The most affordable house wine was a bad wine. - The dishes were very expensive and too simple for what they offer... - Five people at our table ordered the carbonara with lemon. None of them liked it, so much so that they left their food. - The service was so slow. Strong Points: - The decor and architecture are truly tasteful. I don't understand why there's such a long line to go... Porto Alegre is a thing...

The average rating of 4.3 stars doesn't do this restaurant justice. The atmosphere is excellent. The wine list is very interesting and not too common (for example, one of the few wines by the glass that I ordered was an Alto Adige, which is not often found). The dishes we ordered were excellent, with the pappardelle with ragu standing out. The service was the opposite of rude or impolite: our waitress was extremely friendly and helped us make some choices. The kitchen is behind a glass wall, and you can see everything that goes on there. We will definitely be back, guaranteed, 100%.

The ambiance at Bottega Maria is undoubtedly beautiful and refined, conveying a welcoming atmosphere at first sight. We arrived early, without a reservation, and were promptly seated. However, when we sat down at the table, I noticed that the waiters were not very welcoming, something that conveyed a subtle but striking discomfort — a feeling of disdain that compromised the experience. Given this, I chose not to stay at the place.It is regrettable when the service does not match the proposal of the ambiance. Friendly service is as essential as the aesthetics of a restaurant.
