Went there for the 101st birthday party, their signature salad was excellent. The meat sauce for the pasta was also delicious, but there wasn't enough for the portion. Staff was professional and courteous, but hovered way too much, trying to take away plates prematurely while we were still eating-repeatedly, which was annoying. All in all, worth visiting if you're ever in the area.

Excellent place, full of history, the place preserves the magic of the years, it is a must-see.

Always noticing the excellence and importance given to every part of the experience at this iconic place. Everything is top-notch. My only complaint is that they haven't had guava rata available for a while.

A restaurant steeped in history, tradition, and flavor. One of the gems you absolutely must visit if you're in Tijuana. We tried the famous Caesar salad, prepared right in front of you with all the flair it deserves. The small salad is perfect for two people. The lemon ravioli are spectacular. The garlic mushrooms are heaven on the table, and finally, the breaded beef Milanese with pasta was delicious, but a bit salty. It was a great experience, and the waiter was incredibly attentive. By the way, the banana and chocolate dessert was de-li-cious.

A highly recommended tourist spot, the place where the Caesar salad was invented. The place is listed as haute cuisine. We arrived at noon and they were just opening. The place is very pretty, reminiscent of an old-fashioned luxury restaurant. What caught our attention was the unpleasant aroma upon arrival. The service was good, attentive, and quick. We obviously ordered a Caesar salad, which they make at the table, and pasta to go with it. A lot of tourists go there, and it's a must-see in Tijuana.

The place is very pleasant and pretty, with the distinct essence of an Italian restaurant. It's also a landmark in Tijuana, Baja California, as it's where the Caesar salad was invented.The food is very good, and the portions are adequate. I recommend that when ordering the Caesar salad, ask for it to be prepared at the table (it costs extra). It's worth seeing how this delicacy is prepared step by step.I highly recommend it for both a romantic dinner or a casual dinner with friends, as the atmosphere is perfect for both types of gatherings, but you decide the occasion...

Love going here my favorite is Caesar salad with chicken. Inexpensive, cozy atmosphere, great service.

Today (July 3, 2025) I went to dinner and thought I'd order SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE. Oh, I'm surprised they don't have enough money for a plate of meat ($415 total with the lemonade and the extra salt for ordering a little pesto). It only comes with pasta, mushrooms, and NOTHING, but ABSOLUTELY NO GROUND BEEF!!!! Anyone who knows the recipe for this dish knows that as a general rule it should come with GROUND BEEF, either meatball-style or ground mixed with the sauce. I was disappointed because it's not just any place; in fact, even the neighborhood pizza shops add more meat to their pastas. Maybe they're the ones who invented Caesar salads, but they're still missing out on a lot with this pasta. They also charged me an extra, which according to the bill said EXTRA SAUCE. I imagine it's because I asked for some PESTO. It's a shame about the place because it's very nice, but people, we're going to eat!!! Not to see a nice place!!! Personally, I won't ever return!!!
