Disrespect for a 99-Year-Old Woman and Disregard for the Elderly LawThis Mother's Day, I went to lunch with my mother, my 99-year-old grandmother, and other family members. We arrived around 11:40 a.m. When trying to add our name to the waiting list, I informed the receptionist responsible for the list that my grandmother is 99 years old and, therefore, has the legal right to absolute priority, according to the Elderly Statute (Law No. 10,741/2003, art. 3 and art. 15, §5) and Law No. 13,466/2017, which guarantees special priority for people over 80—even ahead of other priority groups, regardless of order of arrival.The receptionist informed us that the queue was first-come, first-served within the priority group, but stated that age didn't matter—it was enough to arrive first within the priority group. This is wrong and violates current legislation, which gives priority to the oldest person, especially when it comes to someone over 99 years old.Even after attempts to clarify, the situation was not corrected. The manager was called, but he disappeared without resolving the issue. Meanwhile, we observed the receptionist texting absent customers, informing them that the table was available, even after calling their names out loud twice, and these customers were not present. It is clear that the list organization was compromised, with no tolerance for waiting or careful line management.After another complaint, the manager reappeared and led us to a table – and, surprisingly, there were several empty tables, even for groups our size. This entire disruption becomes even more unacceptable.It is urgent that the reception staff receive adequate training, develop common sense, and become familiar with current legislation. Anyone who works in customer service needs to know: respecting priority is not a courtesy, it is a legal obligation.On the positive side, I would like to highlight the impeccable service provided by the waiter Felipe and the employee who served the pastries – both were friendly, professional and attentive. For them, 5 stars. For the disorganized reception and the negligent management, if it were possible, I would give zero.

The restaurant is very well located, quiet. With soft live music, the artist who was playing when I went was excellent. Renato's attention was extraordinary, first class. Both the starter and the dishes I ordered were excellent, delicious. What's left over you can take with you without a problem. Highly highly recommended.
