My experience at Carnes en su Jugo Mexicalzingo was extremely pleasant from the very first moment. Despite the small size of the place and a reservation being recommended, the welcome was very warm and attentive, which creates an excellent first impression.The quality of the meat is simply spectacular: tender, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Each of the accompaniments—beans, onions, avocado, etc.—are designed to highlight the traditional flavors of this Jalisco classic. The love with which each dish is prepared is clearly evident.As a small suggestion, I would recommend improving the tortillas that accompany the meal. Handmade tortillas, or at least natural corn tortillas (not brand-name tortillas), would elevate the experience even further, making it perfect.Another detail worth considering would be to take a little more care with the cleanliness of the walls and surrounding details. This doesn't detract from the quality of the food, but would add to the overall ambiance of the place.In short: exquisite. I highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for an authentic place to take a foreign visitor to experience the best of Mexican cuisine. It's a place full of flavor, tradition, and hospitality.

The meat and guacamole are truly spectacular; you can tell the quality is amazing. We'll definitely be back! 10/10.
