The duck tacos and bellotero ham are beyond excellent, I'd say sublime. And if that weren't enough, the wine list fills four pages at a time. The selection of Rioja and Rivera del Duero wines is so extensive that it must be the largest of any restaurant in Mexico (see photos). We ventured to try one from another region, from Navarra, an Otazu Premium Cuvée, which was excellent. To accompany the coffee, which is also outstanding, I recommend the Cherry Roll. As if that weren't enough, the captain and the waiters provide attentive service, as they genuinely seem happy to work here. Their recommendations and spontaneous conversation are appreciated.

It's my favorite place to eat in downtown Mexico City. The servers are attentive and professional, the wine list is extensive, and the prices are quite reasonable (the wine I ordered cost 750 euros, while elsewhere it's 1100 euros). The food is Spanish with excellent flavor, and you'll see people of all ages. We tried ham croquettes, tortilla, cheese and meat hors d'oeuvres, and gorgonzola croquettes. The oxtail and snails were strong to share.
