Very good food and clean place
I found this place for lunch. It caught my attention since we'd visited the Huasteca region of Potosí, and it was a delight. To start, a delicious café de olla (coffee pot), followed by a bocol (they serve them in orders of three), but they made an exception and finally a Migada Huasteca (Huastecan Migada), with the same flavor as Ciudad Valles. The owner told me that most of the ingredients are from the Huasteca region, which makes the flavors very unique. There are other Huasteca dishes like Sacahuil, enchiladas, and more. Excellent service and a very pleasant place. And as you leave the place, on the right, you'll see the famous Cerro de la Silla (Chair Hill).
The food is good but not outstanding, and the drink options are limited. The location is typical of a diner (I didn't like the smell).
The restaurant has a very good menu, especially the fresh cheese and table sauces. I recommend the barbacoa bocoles.
Located in the city center. Huasteca-style food combined with seafood. We ordered bocoles, which were average, and a steak with shrimp (no steak). The dish was completed with shrimp, chilaquiles, and beans. Average flavor. I don't know if there was bar service, although a group of men were seen sitting at a table, regularly going to the kitchen one by one with an empty glass and leaving with a full one. The waiter who served us was already leaving, and we reminded him we didn't have any cutlery. No parking.
The place is quite nice, although better weather or more fans would make it very pleasant. The food is good. We were greeted with zacahuil, salsa, and tortilla chips. The other dishes took too long; I understand that because of the heat, there were flies, which are annoying and detract from the comfort of your stay. The service is attentive, although it's still very slow. The dishes are adequate, nothing spectacular or special. Order the package, which includes soup, dessert, and water.
Best breakfast so far in Monterrey. Homemade taste! Chilaquiles and Agua fresca has refill.
