I returned to this beloved house after a long time to discover that it is still welcoming and reliable. Duck rice is something that only I can make better. Very good wine list, I had a Maria Maria Syrah 2023 that makes me proud to be from Minas Gerais. My friend Dartagnan Rache would be proud of his offspring.

This bistro is a must! You need to go there! By far the best restaurant in town! I wish I have had more time to go there again before leaving BH. This was the best food I ate in my life.As a starter, we shared the “Mini Fondue”, it was incredibly tasty, they added caramelized onions to the fondue, which made it more delicious, they paired it with baguette and green apples (I’ve never thought that green apples would go so well with cheese). Then, we shared the “Magret de Canard com Batatas Gratinadas”. They were very thoughtful of sharing the dish before serving us. It was incredibly well served and the taste?! Absolutely delicious! The duck was perfectly cooked and paired extremely well with tangerine and ginger sauce. The potatoes were very tasty; with the caramelized onions, they were something else. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was very pleasant and warm, all the details were lovely! I would come back to BH just to eat in this bistro again, I wish they opened in Rio.

A traditional Belo Horizonte restaurant, high-end (a collection of Porsches parked outside the door, hehe). Varied menu, with good starter and main course options. Extensive wine list; we tried a very good Chilean reserve wine. For starters, the Angus carpaccio is a good choice; for main courses, we ordered the rice with VG shrimp and the magret de canard, both very tasty and well-served. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate porterhouse.
