This restaurant was a great find in Fortaleza.It's not in a pretty area, in fact, the street is quite sinister and the restaurant is very simple...but it's really worth going!!!Attention: it only serves reservations,You choose the pasta, the sauce and then just enjoy!The owner is super friendly and explains the dishes and the best combinations well.We had the Cheese and Date Sorrentine with Cinque Terre sauce (bechamel, gorgonzola, mushrooms and parma) and Cheese Ravioli with LGC sauce (bechamel, gorgonzola, sausage and blowtorched chocolate).The pasta is handmade and the sauces... divine!Highly recommended!

When it comes to food, I love trying new things, learning about ingredients, preparations and combinations; I love eating well.We have been going to this restaurant since 2019 and have been doing so quite often.It offers innovative pastas in textures, shapes, colors and flavors. Everything is made in-house as a true (and delicious) culinary craft, with unusual combinations. If you go, be open to possibilities; the surprises there are always pleasant. Never order carbonara, matriciana, puttanesca; these classic dishes will not be available; after all, they are the ones we have eaten in every Italian restaurant.It is very small (an old restaurant), so it is essential to make a reservation in advance (via WhatsApp, found on the restaurant's Instagram @delplatapastas).Gerardo, who is the chef de cuisine and owner, serves us very kindly and courteously.

What a sensational experience! We went to celebrate Valentine's Day and we really wanted to go there, and it only fulfilled our expectations. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere was very welcoming, Mr. Gerardo's service was excellent, always friendly and kind. And the food... EXCELLENT. Everything was very subtle, you taste the flavors with great delicacy and lots of love. A 10!! We will definitely be back again.

I can't comment on the atmosphere and food, but regarding the online customer service, it was highly unprepared and rude.

Del Plata was a great discovery and an excellent experience, breaking away from the standard Varjota restaurants. A cozy place with delicious dishes. Everything was very well prepared.

A good variety of Italian dishes, the owner himself who serves the public directly, fair prices, great quality wine and a good atmosphere!

Excellent Italian food!!! If you are in Fortaleza, don't miss this place. The owner is extremely attentive to customers and the food is very tasty!!
