The view is beautiful, that's all. Otherwise, the all-you-can-eat buffet and service are terrible. Don't waste your hard-earned money here. The meats are reheated and lacking in juiciness. The waiter comes by constantly to check if everything is okay, but doesn't bring fresh, succulent meat as you'd expect from a premium all-you-can-eat buffet. If you like fresh, succulent meat, run away! A poor buffet of marré, rice with lots of eggs, and beans in broth. There's no shrimp, sushi, or a variety of hot dishes. The outdoor area plays music of the lowest quality, befitting the meat. That guy, O1, is shouting loudly from the rooftops that he's the boss of the steakhouse. A horrible experience, a terrible all-you-can-eat buffet! Just a scam! Run away!
When it comes to well-done (seared) meat, it's definitely a winner. The waiters didn't even know how cooked the meat was. When I mentioned my preference for medium or rare, it was no use. The waiters' medium was completely gray, and theirs was medium rare. When the meat arrived to my liking, it was actually tasty; otherwise, I found it tough and many of the pieces extremely salty. The ribs, my God... the waiter gave me such a large chunk of pure fat that he was embarrassed and went looking for some meat to add to my plate. The waiters came with the extremely well-done/reheated leftovers on skewers, offering them to us, and of course, we refused more meat than we accepted. In the end, I couldn't take it anymore and gave up. While my husband wanted to continue with the all-you-can-eat buffet, I spared myself the frustration. The wait for drinks was maddening (in fact, they forgot several times, even though we'd ordered for several people), and I was already fed up. Luckily, the place is beautiful and our table was outside, so we could enjoy the view, which was the only thing we liked about it. I don't know if we went on a bad day or at a bad time, but I think if the restaurant offers service at the agreed-upon times, the service must be good from start to finish, especially since the price isn't cheap (in fact, the prices on the online menu are outdated compared to what's charged at the time). Unfortunately, it was the worst all-you-can-eat steakhouse I've ever been to. I expected much, much more.
Fogo de Chão was once, without a doubt, a great restaurant, known for its impeccable service and meats. Unfortunately, this time, the experience fell far short of expectations.I felt like I had to beg for the best cuts to arrive at the table—and even then, they arrived late or in very simple cuts. For a restaurant that has always positioned itself as a benchmark for premium steakhouses, the service left a lot to be desired. The price, on the other hand, remains sky-high. And it's hard to justify the cost when the experience doesn't match. It's a shame to see a place with such tradition lose the excellence that made it special.
Yesterday, July 4th, I went with my wife to lunch at the Fogo de Chão barbecue. I was wearing a beautiful, impeccable white blouse that was a birthday present. It turns out that the waiter hurriedly threw the piece of meat at my black shirt, splattering blood all over my clothes. I understood that it could have been an accident, after all, we all make mistakes, but they could have at least apologized! That's a tip for a restaurant at this level! If you make a mistake, at least apologize! Everyone understands an apology, but no one understands arrogance.Note: I lost my blouse. I'll try to take it to a dry cleaner to see if they can clean it.
