Great falafel place! Everything is made fresh, really tasty. Nice staff and fair prices!I read the reviews and was very surprised, as I don't think it deserves the outstanding rating it has for TWO reasons.
First: the food. We had two falafel durums for dinner, and it wasn't a good falafel at all, not even average. The hummus wasn't well-made either, and the tomato sauce resembled thick gazpacho or salmorejo with peppers. The durum was saved by the black olives that gave it some flavor, but not enough to give it a good rating.
And the second reason, but no less important, is that there are children working there. We were served by a child of about 8 or 9 years old; I don't think I need to say much more. It saddens me to see people praising falafel, vegetarianism, and the lack of cruelty to animals, and they don't see what's right in front of them.
I wouldn't go back or recommend it. We didn't leave out of embarrassment and because we didn't want to give the child a bad time.Green Falafel Cusco, an unforgettable experience for the palate, and if you're looking for a cozy place to enjoy a healthy dish in a peaceful atmosphere, soothing to the senses.
