The place is super charming, really well-decorated in the best Santa Marta style. I also highlight:1. Excellent service. 2. Good breakfast. Very varied. 3. Cleanliness throughout. 4. Comfortable rooms. 5. Entertainment for all ages. 6. Away from the noise of the wedding plaza, yet very close. 7. Very close to the beach. 8. Close to the marina. 9. Really good cocktails. 10. The staff in the lobby are very helpful and provide excellent guidance.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel in March and April 2025. Everything is beautiful. The decor, the wonderful atmosphere, the comfortable rooms, and everything you need for a great stay. The pools are very nice, both on the ground floor and on the terrace. The attention and warmth of the entire staff is outstanding, always willing to help and make you feel at home, from the reception staff to the maids, to the restaurant staff, the cooks, the waitresses, and everyone. As for the restaurant, everything is delicious. The breakfast is 10/10, and we had lunch and dinner there, and the quality of what they serve is spectacular. Everyone made us feel at home. We would definitely come back!

The hotel is beautiful and the included breakfast is excellent - buffet plus eggs, arepas, empanadas, etc made to order. But there is some kind of bar nearby that was playing loud music until about 2am on a Wednesday night. Other than that the location is perfect, a short walk to very good restaurants.

Generally speaking, the Casa Carolina is a nice place. But when you call yourself a 4-star hotel, expectations are simply higher. If you get up a little later in the morning, the hot water often runs out. The service is super friendly, but at times it also seemed very fake and inauthentic. The rooms were clean, but unfortunately very noisy. The food was good, but there are better options outside. What we didn't like at all was the location. Lots of homeless people urinating or taking drugs in front of the entrance. When it's dark, you have to take a taxi, even though the center is a 5-minute walk away. That's also the main reason why we wouldn't stay there again.

The staff is incredibly friendly. I don't know the name of the receptionist, but she's very good at her job and provides excellent service. If you're looking for a quiet, family-friendly atmosphere with some amenities, this is a great place. The only thing that's not so great is its location; however, it's just a couple of blocks from many tourist sites.

Very good everything, service, location and service

The hotel service is excellent. The rooms and common areas are very nice. The only thing we didn't like so much is that it's in an area that seems a bit dangerous if you want to walk outside, especially at night. However, the hotel staff gives you good advice on how to stay safe and comfortable during your stay. The hotel is also very central, allowing you to walk to the tourist areas.

Really a great hotel to fall in love with in Santa Marta! Super friendly staff, nice pools/jacuzzi. Spacious and clean room!Food was also really delicious in the restaurant. You can walk everywhere.We never felt unsafe, but we didn't go out in the evening.It is a bit noisy. We will definitely come back on our next visit to this region!Price/quality 10 out of 10
