Too long to wait and they don't bring you anything until they serve you your plate of food. I wanted to eat it with the chips and I also ordered an appetizer that they're supposed to bring you first, but after 1 hour!!!! My appetizer and a la carte dish arrived, and that's even though I first ordered an a la carte dish and they told me they didn't have any more.
The dish had a lot of salt and ajinomoto, plus it looked like soup and you couldn't taste the jerky. The waiter's service was prompt; he didn't ask if there was a problem with the dish. There was no system in place when it came to charging. It was a bad experience all around.
The food is very good, but the place needs more ventilation, all the smoke from the kitchen stays in the dining room
I loved everything, the atmosphere, the service and the food, One of the best places I've ever visited.
We went because it was quite well-reviewed, but we were deeply disappointed. We ordered a salad with chicken, and it was quite good, but we also ordered ceviche and patarashca. The fish in the ceviche didn't taste good at all; it clearly tasted like something out of the refrigerator. And the patarashca wasn't bad, but they said it was grilled, and it wasn't. It was fish cooked with vegetables, wrapped in a leaf, but there was never a grill inside or out. That's not what they were supposed to offer. Added to this, the prices were a bit high compared to the surrounding area, and the quality wasn't noticeable at all.
3. Ikiitu (p9-10) This restaurant has a wide range of local dishes. I ordered the Amazon specialty Majás stewed American guinea pig. The taste is more like rabbit meat and chicken, very lean and a little hard, different from the fatty Cuy guinea pig in Cusco. The taste is nothing special, just average. I recommend this restaurant because their appetizer sauce crema de cocona is a must-try. Cocoa is a local fruit that tastes between tomato and eggplant. It is very popular and is available in almost every restaurant. Cocoa sauce usually contains Ají Charapita, a local pepper with a unique aroma. I have been missing it since I ate it, but I have never found this taste in other restaurants. I am willing to come to this restaurant again for this sauce.
