The place is nice and well located. However, the food and restaurant are awful.A special mention goes to the waiter named IVO, who, when I asked for the menu, threw it on the table, didn't say good night, and seemed to be doing me a favor by serving me. What a shame, because he threw the menu on the table and turned his back. I watched him the entire time I was there, and this treatment wasn't limited to me. It's unfortunate that this kind of situation happens; the experience at any place begins precisely with the reception, service, and finally the food. I will NEVER return to this place.

We travel to Recife quite a bit for work, and we eat at this restaurant quite often. The food was actually acceptable, but today, unfortunately, it was unhealthy, impossible to eat. I left my entire plate on the table. It was HORRIBLE. Even the coalho cheese, which is something very difficult to be bad, was bad. I paid R$60 for my dish and didn't eat anything. We called the waiter and let him know. He told the cashier that she would give us a discount. I don't want a discount. I expected a more professional attitude from the employees. Since I returned my entire plate, they could have offered me another meal, another type of food to compensate, or at least an apology. But I got a R$7 discount. I left there hungry, R$53 less, feeling sick because the little I ate was terribly bad, and still very dissatisfied. There was no solution for us. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN AND I SUGGEST IT TO EVERYONE, especially people. If you're from out of town and come for pleasure or work, don't eat here. And if you want to try your luck, ask to try a piece of sun-dried meat first, lol, even if it's just a piece of sun-dried meat. Even the sun-dried meat was unseasoned. Has anyone here ever seen sun-dried meat without salt? Well, at ILHA SERTANEJA TEM, as a customer, I'm waiting for someone in charge to contact me with a solution for my situation. I didn't think I was wasting my money and paying almost R$60 for horrible food and not eating anything, as the waiter himself saw. I returned my entire plate. I left my contact information on the restaurant's Instagram in the hope that the company has a prepared and ethical manager to solve its problems, if that's even possible.

We went for dinner. It was a self-service buffet for R$99.90 per kg. It had wonderful, delicious proteins like filet mignon, hake fillet, sun-dried meat with cheese, cod, squid, etc. The menu was quite varied and included desserts, pies, and sweets. Everything was delicious. A can of soda was R$10.00 (which I thought was expensive).

Sensational food! I love the sun-dried meat with coalho cheese and the hidden sun-dried meat. A must-see in Recife—I highly recommend it!

The food was served buffet style with a wide variety of regional dishes. I loved it. Better than eating standing up at the market.
