La Casa De La Crepe has been our home away from home during visits to the Coban area over several years. Good food, comfortable rooms and the location couldn't be more central. Most importantly, the owner Humberto and his family are incredibly kind and great resources for activities in the area. Humberto's English is excellent (which is not that common in this region of Guatemala). Humberto can suggest a wide range of activities and either conduct the tours himself or suggest other resources. We just got back from Semuc Champey with Humberto and had a great trip in his modern and safe car.

Great breakfasts, very tasty and pleasant atmosphere, recommended.

If you want a free stomach bug and a trip to the hospital, be sure to order the cordon bleu crepe.

The food was in poor condition, they don't use fresh ingredients. We just tried it and didn't continue eating because it tasted bad. We ended up literally sick, vomiting. When we reported that the food was in poor condition, they did not apologize, but rather they invalidated our comment by saying that they are attentive to their food... well, something is wrong.A shame. I had known it many years ago and it was much better.
