The owner is Walter Saxer, producer of the films "Fitzcarraldo" and "Aguirre the Wrath of God."The pool alone is worth it, because it's a shame they don't do any general maintenance. My room had a broken TV and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks (possibly), and the sheets smelled terrible too. We weren't even going to complain because we didn't want to ruin the wonderful trip we had until we got to that hotel. Luckily, we found outside activities that allowed us to stay out of our rooms.It seems like a great plan to spend an afternoon there, see the facilities, use the pool and eat/drink something. The entire design is very particular, something different to see.
