At first, I thought it wasn't a bad place; the wait time for a quesadilla or anything else is incredibly long, the drinks aren't freshly made, the tamales are sometimes raw, the atole ferments because it's made several days in advance, and the fact that it's so dark inside doesn't help the space either. And decide whether you're going to get a pot of coffee or hot chocolate because the flavor is strange, and don't commit the crime of reheating the coffee; it turns bitter. And if only they take good care of the product they deliver.

I went for breakfast and loved the experience. The place is spectacular! Every detail is carefully thought out, it's very cool and comfortable. The service: a 10! The food options are very good and delicious, as is the presentation. I would definitely go back. A lovely mix of art and gastronomy!

The very friendly waiter offered us a corn omakase and guided us through each dish—an exceptional experience! Everything was delicious.

Everything about this place is fantastic. The food, the atmosphere, the service. I just wasted 2,000 at another restaurant in SLP and I am truly sorry I did not dine at La Hija del Maiz! This pictures are from lunch, the dinner menu is much more elegant and interesting.

100% authentic Oaxacan food with quality ingredients transports you to Oaxaca. Keep in mind that much of the food is freshly prepared, so it takes a while, but it's worth it.

We loved the place and the food was delicious. Everything we tried was super tasty and well thought out. Thank you for the experience, which I highly recommend.

The service was excellent, each dish brought to the table was explained in a way that made it sound richer than it already looked, and once you tried it you weren't disappointed at all. We were three people and it was cheaper than we thought for everything we ate. We will definitely return.
