Unfortunately, the contact information, both landline and mobile, is incorrect on the map and Google—the call doesn't connect. They also don't respond on Instagram. This makes it really difficult to know if the restaurant is open before you go.
I went today and it's closed😭 I was told it's been closed since May
Absolutely phenomenal. I already miss it.
The place has a super interesting decor that truly evokes Peru. The service is good but a bit slow. The food was delicious, especially the ceviche mixto. We also tried the breaded seafood. The pisco sour was delicious, and the cachaça (red fruit chilcano) is a unique drink but a bit strong for my taste. A good experience.
Excellent! The food and drinks were very good!
It was a pleasant experience. I will return more times
Very tasty food. I highly recommend it.
It was wonderful, tasty food, quality service.
I loved the food. As a Peruvian, I'm so happy to find a restaurant that makes me feel at home. I'll be back...
We visited La Taverna 416 expecting authentic Peruvian food. Analyzing some reviews here on Google, it's clear that this place doesn't serve typical Peruvian food, which is a shame... In short, I don't recommend visiting. Here's a detailed review...Unfortunately, the Peruvian ceviche left something to be desired, served with canned sweetcorn instead of the traditional chulpe corn. The salmon wasn't cubed, but rather shredded, and it wasn't fully marinated, resulting in a lack of harmony in the dish. Furthermore, the traditional leche de tigre was less full-bodied than expected, which distanced it from the flavor expected in a traditional ceviche. We were told that the sauce was toned down because some customers don't appreciate the traditional flavor. However, in a place that claims to be traditional, these changes should be warned upfront or highlighted on the menu. The "Papas a la Huancaína" dish was served with regular potatoes instead of the traditional papas amarillas, and the aji sauce, besides lacking the vibrant yellow color of aji amarillo, had a grainy texture and wasn't as spicy as we expected. We also ordered the "Chauffa Mixto Especial," a seafood rice dish, which was tasty and well-presented.The traditional Peruvian Cusqueña beer was out of stock, but the available beer was cold and the prices were fair.I want to emphasize that the feedback here is constructive, and I see great potential with the necessary adjustments. Finally, I wish the establishment success in improving its dishes.I also want to congratulate the staff, who were extremely attentive and provided us with excellent service.
