A soulful restaurant! In the courtyard of the museum under a glass box. A very cozy place! John told everything beautifully! During the entire trip to Peru, this was the most vivid dinner in terms of impressions! The presentation was luxurious, the dishes were accompanied by stories, the concept was - the regions of Peru! We literally made a gastronomic journey! From the coast to the Amazon! And most importantly, we managed to try the guinea pig without the horrific sight of a whole baked carcass! Thank God! And a charming waiter! John is beyond praise!
Attached to the museum, we had a great lunch before visiting. Excellent food and service
Special food
We went for dinner and were very impressed. They explain the food very well and the service is excellent. Our server, Juan, was amazing. Delicious!
This was a Michelin level meal! DELICIOUS and Beautifully presented! Description of the servings explained by John, our server, who let us know the origin & regions of our meal and their connections to the Peru landscape. A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Wine selection was very complementary to the meal. Highly recommend!!Noisy cafe when large tables are seated.
Excellent place, in an environment full of history, the place is simple but with the best service and the exquisite flavors of Peruvian food in all its expression, highly recommended and a good wine list
A true journey of flavors! I was surprised by an absolutely impeccable sequence — from starter to dessert, everything was thought out down to the smallest detail. One of the main dishes, in particular, easily makes it onto the list of the most extraordinary dishes I have ever tasted, not only in Peruvian cuisine, but perhaps in my entire gastronomic life. Congratulations to MAP Café for providing such a memorable experience in Cusco — and a special applause to chef David Mejía for his unique talent and sensitivity in creating the dishes!
One of our favorite dinners in Peru. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic. We loved the mushroom soup and the melon salad. And don’t miss the chocolate dessert with the surprise shot. It’s awesome. The atmosphere is a little dark as it’s inside a mostly closed museum. Would feel a little better with more lighting outside in the courtyard.
Was absolutely delicious! Place was very nice and cozy. The service by Paul was excellent! Will definitely be returning.
