Since I've been going to Belém, I eat here whenever I can. Very good food.

Attentive waiter, good music, beautiful decor and standard food. It took a long time to serve the dishes. Despite asking the person in charge for the bill twice, I had to go to the counter to pay. The women's bathroom was out of toilet paper and the sink was empty of paper towels.

Today, June 6, 2025, we unfortunately experienced an extremely unpleasant situation at this establishment. I was accompanied by my mother, an elderly woman, and my daughter when we encountered an unacceptable occurrence: there was a hair in one of the plates that had just been served to my mother.I immediately politely called the hostess, simply requesting that the plate be replaced. To my surprise and utter astonishment, the employee's response was that the hair found belonged to my mother. I emphasize that, although my mother has gray hair, she hadn't even started eating when the hair was noticed, meaning the food was still untouched.Faced with the subtle accusation and the employee's obvious lack of preparation, my mother, embarrassed, felt compelled to justify the hair not being hers. It is unacceptable that, instead of offering an appropriate solution, the hostess chose to adopt a disrespectful stance and insinuate a false accusation.I dedicated my life to studying and working precisely to provide quality time and well-being for my family, and I never imagined I would be humiliated in an environment I had previously enjoyed working in. This employee's behavior compromises not only the company's image but also the customer experience.It is deeply regrettable that, in 2025, the year the state of Pará will have the eyes of the world on it as it hosts COP30, we still encounter professionals unprepared to deal with the public with empathy, respect, and professionalism.I share my story here as a warning: if you have gray hair, you may need to wear a cap before being served here. And if you encounter any problems, be aware that you may be treated with disdain and even accused of bad faith.I paid my bill, including the service, and I sincerely hope that the tip given to the employee can at least contribute to her investing in customer service training.I am deeply disappointed.--Disrespectful service – A warning for COP30 visitors We found a hair in my elderly mother’s meal. When I asked for the dish to be replaced, the hostess shockingly claimed the hair was my mother’s — before she had even touched the food. This lack of professionalism and respect was deeply disappointing. If you’re visiting Belém for COP30, think twice before coming here. Tourists deserve better treatment.
