Over priced, tiny portion, appetizer, entree, $75, not worth it. Lamb entree was one taco, got food poisoning, don’t eat there
The food is very delicious!
Appetizer was good but entrees were disappointing . The beef tongue sauce was bland and nothing special, the pork chop please do NOT order it, it feels not fully cooked (but restaurant told us that is how that type of pork is), most importantly it doesn’t taste good at allService was amazing, too bad food (entree) wasn’t , for the price and reputation we expected more
I can't find enough words to describe the immense happiness I always feel visiting this place. The atmosphere, even when packed with people, is always welcoming. The staff is friendly and professional, and the food engages all the senses in an unforgettable way. On one occasion, I saw a father with his daughter, perhaps a chef, teaching her to taste each dish and asking her what complexities she found in each one. I ask myself that same question. One of my favorite restaurants every time I travel to Mexico City.
We came on time for our reservation only to be seated an hour late because they were “having some delays.” When we finally got seated, the waiter took our drink orders and then left for another 45 minutes, he actually only returned when we called him over. We all got horrible food poisoning as well which is crazy for a supposed Michelin star and it ruined our trip. Also nothing for comped for the almost 2 hour delay. And the food was mid to top it off.
One of the few restaurants in Mexico City that lives up to its reviews. Every dish is spectacular. Excellent service. My favorites: the onion soup dip, the burger, and the French toast.
Wow…just wow. Dining here was an experience in every sense of the word. We were torn between ordering à la carte or going all-in with the tasting menu, and we’re so glad we chose the latter. It gave us the chance to try a bit of everything, and every single course left us more impressed than the last. Each dish was plated with perfection and presented like a work of art. The flavors were delicate yet complex, beautifully balanced in ways I didn’t even know were possible. From the warm, flavor-packed appetizers to the perfectly cooked fish and meat courses, every bite felt like a masterclass in culinary technique. Dessert was equally divine, melt-in-your-mouth perfection that left us speechless.Máximo’s wine list was both extensive and thoughtfully curated as well!Truly an unforgettable meal, we’re already looking forward to our next visit!!!
Absolutely stunning restaurant, amazing food, kind and friendly waitstaff. A great splurge restaurant when traveling to CDMX. I love that their menu changes daily, the flavors were delicious and fresh. Would highly recommend!
🤍 A marvel.
They charged us 1,200 pesos for opening a bottle of wine (they charged us 60 USD for opening a bottle of wine), truly ridiculous. They think they're in New York.Beet salad, it's half a beet 🤣 They think it's microscopic molecular food. If you want to be robbed in this large restaurant with a tin roof from a central market, welcome and enjoy. We won't be scammed again. ✌🏽🐀😖 Much better and less fake snobby "fine" dining restaurants in the city.
