We were excited to eat at Mistura because of all of the good reviews, but were very disappointed. Our experience indicated that this place is the classic tourist trap. We knew it was a tourist spot when we decided to eat there, but our other meals at tourist spots in Cusco (on the Plaza) were delicious and had proved to be worth the additional cost (and genuinely were not outrageously priced), but not Mistura.Our overpriced cocktails had almost no alcohol and plenty of juice (former bartender here), the food was decent, but not worth the price we paid, and when I asked the server for a recommendation between two equal-priced options, they turned the page and insisted that I should have a dish that was double the price. When I explained that I did not want that dish and would like a recommendation between the two dishes I was considering, the server again turned the page and insisted that I should order the expensive dish that I did not want.All of these exchanges were done in Spanish, so a language barrier was definitely not the issue. The only positive thing about the whole experience was the beautiful view.Very delicious food. For a good taste.Excellent place to visit and enjoy a local meal, the lady's attention was exceptional, she was always attentiveVery nice place, spacious and clean, careful attention, extremely courteous and friendly lady. The food, its cost is above average, but I found it very pleasant, the Cusco chairo was great and the Inca grill mix was not far behind, good taipa. Between 2 of us we almost didn't finish, plus the meat was just right like everything else. A separate experience was trying the passion fruit sour cocktail, and the good passion fruit soda, super delicious.
I definitely recommend it.
Oh and by the way the view of the city is impressive.Great panoramic view of Cusco, the food is delicious
