Good food, I just didn't like the noodles used for my ramen, they tasted like instant noodles (industrialized flavor).
Excellent place, very clean and organized. Good, tasty food. Good service and charisma. Unfortunately, my wife's bento came with a live animal (a cricket in the sashimi). They apologized and replaced the dish, but it's not something we like to see on a plate of food. Another downside is the bathroom; it could be improved.
I gave Momo another chance and chose the Shiro Misso Momo. It's not bad, but unfortunately it has a lot of flaws:- noodles that are too soft, overcooked; - broth that is a bit watery, tasteless; - meat that is under-seasoned, also tasteless. The service is great and the structure of the restaurant is very nice, but the most important thing for me is the food. The average price is the same as many other restaurants of this type, so it's hard to recommend it.
🍜 For me, the best ramen in São Paulo! Delicious, warm and super tasty. But I warn you: there is always a line — and for good reason, because the flavor is incredible! It's worth every minute of waiting.
The dishes were very well served. We arrived around 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday and there was a bit of a wait, so it's important to arrive early.
The place is trending thanks to social media. We waited about 20 to 30 minutes in a sidewalk line; the receptionist was very polite and friendly. There were no napkins or hand sanitizer on the table, so when you ordered a canned soda, there was no way to clean the lid. The table we sat at was uneven and wobbled a lot, making it a terrible place to eat ramen for fear of spilling it on your clothes. The waiter brought our order, dropped pieces on the table, and didn't replace it. In fact, we were unsure whether it was his job to pick up the spilled food. The bathroom was clean and stocked with the necessary toiletries. The food was okay, nothing amazing, and worth the almost 30-minute wait. I won't return and I don't recommend it.
A group of five of us went to Momo Ramen with high expectations, as the restaurant is very famous and highly recommended. The experience started off positively: we faced a short line, the wait time was pleasant, and we were seated at a comfortable table on the second floor. The service was good, the dishes arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and everything went as expected. Now, about the food: the ramen was disappointing. The broth was tasty, but nothing special—a common broth with no depth of flavor. The noodles didn't seem handmade and had the texture of industrial noodles. The meat was served in coarse slices, lacking the care expected from a specialty restaurant. Honestly, it reminded me of a more elaborate noodle dish. I give the ramen a 5, which is well below what we expected given the restaurant's reputation. We enjoyed the curry dishes (pork and shrimp) the most, which were tasty but also unremarkable. Everything was average. In the end, I found the price high for what I received, especially considering the competition from excellent ramen restaurants in Liberdade. The service and facilities were worth it, but the flavor and dining experience didn't quite live up to the hype.
Good food, nothing amazing, but good, but the service is bad. Especially at night.
