Had soup a few times and it was tasty. Compared to local restaurants, it is not the cheapest. At restaurant Broasteria around the corner you get soup for 1/3 of this price and it is at least as tasty. That restaurant is a bit more local, but that certainly does not make the food less. Mr. Soup looks a bit better in terms of decoration and that will appeal more to tourists and you can see that in the price.
Furthermore, I recommend this restaurant.Wonderful place, highly recovering the quinoa soup!My boyfriend and some friends and I went out to dinner, hoping to have a good time, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I ordered a soup a la minute and it was a disaster: it was way too salty, so much so that I couldn't even finish it. It clearly showed a lack of care in its preparation.If you're looking for a delicious soup, you have to come here. A fantastic selection of soups, and the service is a 10 out of 10. I haven't experienced such excellent service in a long time.Four of us had different type soups and they all were good. This a must place to have soup in Cusco.The soup here literally cured my friend that was feeling very ill! This is the best soup stop you may ever find and this is not an exaggeration! If I could post 10 stars I would.A stone's throw from my accommodation at Mama Simona, it was my go-to place for dinner during my stay in Cusco: it offers local and international soups.
I tried 5 different ones, all delicious!!Ordered curry udon soup as takeout. Overly salty and tasteless.Soup itself is fine and a portion was quite generous, however place lacks any ventilation and after visiting all my clothes smell very badly.
