Read selected reviews:

The fish moqueca (yellow hake) is simply extraordinary. The palm oil and coconut milk seem magically blended in a beautiful clay pot, bubbling to the table. A true bargain for many a critically acclaimed restaurant. The fish pirão is perfectly cooked, with no aftertaste. The house pepper has an incredible flavor. The ambiance is apparently undergoing renovations, but it still retains the charm of a colonial mansion with an archaic and interesting refinement. Precisely because of the restaurant's very old structure, there is a lack of accessibility for people with disabilities and the elderly with reduced mobility.

We had mixed feelings about this restaurant. The food is good, and the shrimp bobó served two adults and a child well. The service is also good, but two factors impact the review: price and ambiance. The price is higher than other restaurants in the area with similar quality; the ambiance isn't great, with exposed electrical wiring giving it a neglected look (nothing like the Google photos). I don't know if they're under renovation; there was no sign. We ended up staying because the tour guide took us there (be careful with directions), and it was already after 3 p.m., so we didn't want to spend a lot of time searching.

The food is very expensive and there is very little of it.

Excellent fish stew, I highly recommend this dish in a very relaxed place.

Delicious, well-presented food, spacious and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly, welcoming staff, though one or two were a little inattentive. Great location. Very good.
