Paprika, the hotel restaurant for Wyndham Casa del Sol Arequipa, provides a solid breakfast buffet. Lots of variety; smoked trout, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals, breads, rotating chaffing dish items, and made to order eggs. Plus you can enjoy your food and coffee by the pool. Great start before exploring the White City! Oscar, our server everyday, was fantastic and told us the history of the hotel tortoise and alpacas as well as keeping our coffee full. Would come again.Excellent breakfast and fantastic service by Oscar. Oscar was very attentive and efficient.Just ok, the flavours and quality of the dishes weren’t really worth the higher cost. Would suggest taking a short walk to something better.The undisputed n.1 restaurant in Arequipa according to TripAdvisor, does not disappoint. And it better not, at the prices it commands. It is locally expensive to very expensive, but still a bargain compared to US and most European restaurants. It offers international cuisine, with some Peruvian dishes (including, of course, ceviche) very well prepared and using quality ingredients. If a criticism can be made, it is that the food fails to "wow" in both presentation and taste, somewhat lacking in originality and presenting flavors that are sure to be familiar and please everyone, rather than dare to try something more unique. The ambience is very plush and elegant in the interior rooms and much more relaxed in the many tables poolside, but service is very professional in both. You are made to feel important with everyone acknowledging your presence and greeting you the first time they see you. On Sundays the restaurant also offers a compelling buffet lunch at 100 Soles (about 25 USD) where you can taste many different dishes. The variety of the offer is not huge, but definitely not lacking, either, with various cold appetizers and three or four mains with different sides, besides three different desserts. Recommended for a formal evening or a special occasion.Very cold inside and bland food in an uninviting atmosphere.Very good experience, high level food in an open air environment. Highlights the attention and dedication of the staff to provide good service.The attention of the staff was unbeatable, the food was very delicious, with simple flavors but at the same time very well achieved and prepared. The presentation of the dishes is exquisite, and the prices are in line with the level of the place. The lounge is very beautiful and comfortable, and also has outdoor tables.
