This is the first cafe I visited when I arrived in Salta. It is right next to the cathedral, so I still remember the atmosphere of the first day I visited. The weather was cloudy, but the cafe atmosphere and view were quite impressive. You can eat while looking at the pretty cathedral right in front of you from the terrace (patio) seats, so the atmosphere is really great. I like Cafe Firo. It is a brunch place that I would recommend to tourists. It is in the middle of the city, but you can enjoy a relatively quiet and leisurely atmosphere.

Really worth a visit. Great empanadas, nice beer.

A unique place for its atmosphere and history. Excellent service. We went for a snack and everything was great! A must-see if you visit Salta!

Even though it was really cold I sat on the patio because you get to see hummingbirds feeding off the flowers while you enjoy a hearty locro.
