A great place to hang out with friends, family, and have a great time. I highly recommend it!

Although it's one of the typical peñas in Salta's capital, steeped in history and tradition, the service could be considerably improved. To secure a spot, you have to reserve a table weeks in advance. When you sit down at your table, you're informed that the show is separate from dinner and that you have to order main courses, not just appetizers. The food is delicious; the cabrito (goat) was one of the best I've tried, and you're guaranteed to have fun at the beginning of the peña… then it turns into a tropical dance.

The service was disorganized. The reservation wasn't made, but they fixed it. It took them 1:45 to serve us. He left without even taking our order. If you go in groups of two, they put you at tables on the sides so you can't see the show properly. The waiter was terrifying. The show was excellent, the singers were top-notch.

I went with a travel group from Uruguay 15 days ago... cold food, because there are so many people that the service becomes bad, and you are squeezed by so many people, the waiter after serving this cold food demanded a tip and responded very badly to many people in the group, he kept by his own decision the change that he himself considered a self-tip... very famous but the locals say that under the service that now other peñas highlight it in Salta

You have to make a reservation. The waiter served us extremely well, but the kitchen took exactly two hours to bring out the food—a disaster. The food was also sparse and expensive; all the restaurants in Salta have generous and cheap dishes, but Balderrama's is the complete opposite. The show is very good, although they charge 10,000 per person. You have to eat before you go, because it's impossible to wait two hours for your food.
