It was a wonderful experience. Paulo's service was fabulous, friendly and pleasant. He offered us a very unique dish, mixing shrimp with mushrooms, I couldn't believe the result. Unmissable.

I waited two hours: one hour for the table and one hour for the food... the fun is lost, the charm is gone and you are desperate to get out of here. I don't know anyone who comes to dinner just for the atmosphere, the service is very bad.

We arrived right at the restaurant's opening and were warmly welcomed. The house is beautiful, dating back to the 1950s. The wine cellar is located inside the couple's old closet. The women's bathroom is full of information about the restaurant's history, which dates back to 2004. The menu is so rich in options, it's almost difficult to decide (a paradox of choice). We ordered coperto, pasta, and desserts. My husband ordered a matriciana (a type of pasta dish) that we didn't have time to photograph… I ordered ravioli stuffed with arugula and grapes, in a creamy sauce with mushrooms flambéed in cognac, very delicious! For dessert, Del Peppo gelato.

I knew Peppo as an excellent and respectable restaurant. Unfortunately, two years after my first visit, the food took an hour and a half to arrive at the table. The worst part was that I was surprised by the size of the steak the restaurant offers... photo attached. I have no idea how many grams of meat there are; I ordered the smaller size, intending not to get the biggest piece. Unfortunately, it arrived cold and unsalted, and the risotto was quite bland. The price was exorbitant. It left something to be desired, and it could have been better.

Horrible. It takes more than an hour to serve lunch. The steak is overcooked, if I like it cold!

Sensational. One of the best Italians.

I've been going to the restaurant since 2014 and it's always been wonderful... the highlight of the place, besides the perfect food, is the waiter PAULO who is incredible, attentive, very friendly and has the best service in town. I highly recommend it!!!
