Good food, but the service experience was not 100% favorable (the wait time exceeded an hour, and by mistake they took my dishes to a table that had just arrived) . . . However, I would recommend the place, it was not a mistake with malicious intentions, but I did have an uncomfortable time, as for the food, I reiterate that it is very good !!!Good northern foodThe food is good, the prices are affordable, the atmosphere is good, but the court on the side is very noisy.Had to try cerviche, it’s a Peruvian speciality & this was a fun spot. I had the A.A.S Norteño (mixed platter) & it was the perfect choice.
It’s very rich & quite salty for the unaccustomed palate but worth it!
I couldn’t resist trying the Inca Cola - a fluorescent yellow soft drink with a vaguely pine flavour, the sweetness helped off-set the savoury dish, a beer would have been a better choice I think!
The owner was very engaging over our Translator conversation & was very friendly.
The seating overlooks a soccer field & like many places in Iquitos it is very low key but definitely a worthy visit.
The music was a little loud & the venue a bit sterile but it has a genuine local feel & I went with the spirit of the place!
