Nice place, good service, but the food left a lot to be desired.

I give it 5 stars because the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the place is spacious, clean, and pleasant. The food took a while to arrive after ordering, but I think we went on a busy day, so the wait wasn't unbearable. The pork loin in mushroom sauce with Spanish potatoes was delicious, and they respected the cooked meat we ordered. The hake in shrimp sauce was also delicious. The seafood paella was good, but we felt it lacked a little more flavor. The dessert was divine, and the squid we ordered as a starter were fresh and very good as well. The price-quality ratio goes hand in hand. I do think it's a bit pricey, and I didn't like that we only accept QR codes from an ID card, debit cards, or cash! We're in the 21st century, and credit cards are also an option. Otherwise, I can say it's a place to go and try, but not one I'd come back for often.

The Milanese Neapolitan was excellent, but it came without a side dish, and due to the size (since it's for two people), it could have been. The seafood salad lacked substance. Be careful. They don't accept credit cards, but since they weren't informed, they finally charged. 10 points for the service.

The pollock dish was delicious. The staff was attentive. The desserts were limited. They've raised their prices. They should have wine in 3/8-ounce bottles, not just by the glass.

It's always been one of my favorite restaurants. Its history, architecture, atmosphere—everything takes you back to the Basque Country. This time, we had the dish of the day for lunch: hake with spring onions and potatoes. It was 8 out of 10. My only observation is that the cream didn't have as much of a "royal cream" flavor, but everything else was excellent. The potatoes were crispy and beautiful. The fish is always fresh here. And the bread rolls at the start were beyond words! I love them! And thank you 💕
