OMG, run to this restaurant and get ready for a gastronomic experience. The decor is very nice, food is an out of body experience delicious and the service is fine dining to the 10th degree! Wish we could’ve everything on the menu. Delicious, delicious and delicious!!

The place is very pleasant, the food is delicious and the presentation of the dishes is impeccable. The person who served the table I was at was Juan, very polite, he explained the dishes very masterfully.

From the very first moment, Restaurante Carmen Cartagena is an experience that combines elegance, warmth, and haute cuisine. The place is simply beautiful, with a carefully designed atmosphere that creates a cozy yet sophisticated environment.The experience began with a memorable treat: a mushroom salad with intense and perfectly balanced flavors, which set the tone for what was to come. The service, in the hands of Juan, was more than adequate; his kindness and knowledge exceeded all expectations. In places of this caliber, good service is expected, but what he offered was a true lesson in hospitality.The wine list is extensive and well-curated, with options that perfectly complement each dish. As a starter, the octopus deserves a special mention: impeccably cooked, with a soft texture (none of the classic chewy consistency), and accompanied by a yuca croquette that balances the dish with a delicious local touch.For the main courses, we tried two options with Caribbean fish. The first, with banana, and the second, more classic, both stood out for their clean and balanced flavors, where the freshness of the ingredients is evident and takes center stage.The desserts were the perfect closing: the lemon pie and the choco-corozo are not only creative but offer a smoothness and balance of flavors rarely found. As a final touch, a new courtesy: a passion fruit dessert and soft-serve ice cream, small in size but enormous in flavor, concluded the experience with the same elegance with which it began.The atmosphere is calm and sophisticated, with American music, which, in our case, was the perfect accompaniment. It's not a cheap restaurant, but every detail, every dish, and every moment are worth the investment. More than just a dinner, it's an experience worth every penny and leaves you feeling like you've invested in happiness.

The food is delicious, but quite expensive for the area. Obviously, it's worth it, since the place is beautiful, has live music, and the dishes are anything but simple. But

The experience was impeccable from start to finish. We made our reservations well in advance and, as required, left our card as a guarantee. We had lunch inside with air conditioning — essential in the heat of Cartagena — and were very well attended to the entire time. The staff is attentive, well trained and helped us with all our choices.The sequence of dishes was sensational:Starter (crab): incredibly good, the absolute highlight of the meal.Amuse-bouche (complimentary tartare): surprising, very high standard.Main course (cazuela): very tasty, rich and well executed, although less impressive than the starters.Wine (Malbec): their suggestion, with a great cost-benefit ratio.Chocolate dessert: delicious, well prepared and balanced.Extra dessert (complimentary for a birthday): another highlight — tasty and served with care.Elegant atmosphere, creative dishes and first-class service. It was, without a doubt, one of the best restaurants on the entire trip. Worth every penny. A must-see for anyone visiting Cartagena.
