I went to the restaurant because it was very famous in the city and highly recommended by friends. I wanted to return to Europe and eat food with a Bahian flavor. Despite my craving for moqueca, I knew it would be too much because I was alone. I ordered the delicious seafood rice broth. The atmosphere is beautiful. But I felt a little snubbed by the staff, and I received a bit of judgmental stare when I arrived, perhaps because I was dressed simply.
The food was really good and tasteful. one of the best we had on our days around Salvador/ Barra. The atmosphere is also very good, although I was expecting more related to service. The waiters were not so kind. We asked twice to change the place due to the air conditioning, but without good attention. Due to the value and I was expecting more.
The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming. The service was average, as we were forgotten for a while by the waiter, even though we tried to wave, and our drink wasn't delivered. What really shocked me was that I felt very sick the night after dinner. Soon after leaving the restaurant, I felt pressure in my stomach and had to go to the hotel. It was a long night... unfortunately, I wouldn't expect any problems with the food from a place of such high standards. It's been two weeks, and I'm still recovering from some of the effects.
I loved it. A little pricey, but worth it.
Excellent
While in Salvador, we decided to visit Casa de Tereza, a very beautiful restaurant with very good food. My family and I really enjoyed it.
The house offers several themed spaces (halls) that reinforce the cultural identity of Bahia. It's as if you were strolling through all of Salvador in one place. I don't know if they are available every day. The food is excellent! The service is also excellent! For those who only drink Heineken beer, it's better to choose another one. It's worth it! It's a good idea to take an Uber, either to have a quiet drink or to park. There is a Zona Azul nearby, but it's usually full! Thanks to Tereza and her dedicated team.
The muqueca was excellent. I ordered half a portion, and it was really well served. Excellent service!
