I have been eating an executive lunch at this place for more than 5 years, for $8,500, which generally consists of beans, rice, potatoes, slices of sweet plantain, salad and the protein that you can choose between roast beef, grilled brisket or pork, today I am attending lunch I go to this place as I occasionally do, I order the same executive lunch as usual for 5 people, they give me the plate without beans and without slices of Maduro, I request the beans and the waiter tells me that the lunch that brings beans is 14,000, surprised and surprised by this measure that for more than 5 years I have known and attended this business today they change the prices in such an absurd way, to solve it I ask for a portion of beans that costs me about 7,000 pesos , when am I going to pay for the 5 lunches Oh... surprise!!! They don't charge me 8,500 for a lunch without beans if they don't charge me 14,000 for such a basic lunch, the lady at the cash register is no longer the owner as usual but rather an employee, and I make the complaint, I did it in a strong tone so that The clients present heard, I could have gone to La Cob or the Doña Pepa Restaurant that are nearby, the same lunch but complete with beans and slices of sweet plantains and most importantly the food of having air conditioning is worth it. $10,000 pesos not $14,000 like the canal and by the way it was raining and it had 3 leaks that the stream passed straight inside the kiosk, since it is an old business with an old cane roof and in parts zinc sheets, in conclusion I paid 78,000 pesos, but I simply told him that I was paying for the robbery they were doing to me and they were losing 5 clients or suddenly even more clients, they want to have lunch on 4th Avenue I mean, on the back block they have Doña Pepa and La Mazoja, very good and traditional businesses in the city.
