San Honorato, a classic pasta restaurant in General Paz, has disappointed me. I went with high expectations, but the dishes failed to live up to expectations. The atmosphere is beautiful, the waiter attentive, and the service excellent, but I found the food bland and tasteless for the price. In fact, both my partner and I ended up with food poisoning. I ordered noodles with mushrooms (in the cheese mold, which never came that way) and my partner ordered risotto, and they were tasteless. The cheese was old and tasteless. They don't accept cash discounts. The menu's typography is unclear. It's a rip-off to pay 30,000 each for poorly made noodles and rice that ended up spoiled. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
My second visit to the place, the first time I went, everything was really nice, however, this second time it was very disappointing, the sea risotto had sand, which means that the products were not well washed, secondly my friends ordered spaghetti in Orma de queso, and the orma is without cheese, we spoke to the waiter to tell him the concern about our single dishes, he got upset, and replied that we should talk to the owner, he did not want to change the risotto dish, and we were also ignored all night, very bad experience. Nice atmosphere, but without a doubt the treatment by the waiter and the single food a minus zero. They cannot have a dish on the menu with one specification, and when served it is another. I wanted my friend to take back to Spain a nice memory of Córdoba, and what better than in the General Paz neighborhood, but the truth was it was disappointing.
We made a reservation at 10 p.m., and upon arrival, we had to wait outside in the cold for about five minutes because the door was closed. Once inside, we were seated at a table so close to the other tables that we could hear everything the other couples were saying. The service was very slow and unprofessional. We waited a total of an hour and a quarter for our food, which arrived lukewarm. The waiters weren't in the dining room, so we couldn't order anything. The price is excessively high for the poor service, attention, and quality of food provided. Overall, the experience was not satisfactory, and I would not recommend it.
The food was a disaster; we ended up food poisoning. I came home feeling nauseous and upset. The food was a sticky risotto; it tasted old and tasteless. I hope they review the preparation of the dishes, the quality of the ingredients, and the process; it's not worth the almost 30,000 pesos a dish costs.
The food was very good, but it didn't wow me. When I went down to the wine cellar, the service was more like an all-you-can-eat buffet. One person stood there, not speaking, and one of the dishes had a long hair on it (I took it out and continued, but the person standing there didn't even flinch). The restaurant is fine, but it's not worth the price. Today, there are better options in Córdoba.
Very good food, although a little scarce, it takes a while for the dishes to arrive at the table, the wine cellar is very good as always and the service at the table is good.... Price-quality ratio is good.
Terrible experience! The cheesecake spread is a lie! It doesn't come with cheese; you have to add it. It's annoying that they sell something that isn't yours. On top of that, the waiter was very rude, telling us so when we complained. Disappointed.
A single waiter to serve the entire room, attention to those in a hurry, such as emergencies, and reasonable prices.
