I hadn't been to this place for years. The way it's been remodeled and refurbished is very nice, and the service and attention are excellent.Sopón Zacamil is a restaurant frequented by residents of the Zacamil neighborhood and beyond.The entire staff is very professional. They are attentive and respectful to the clientele, offering beer combos and other food promotions.All appetizers are freshly prepared (cuajadas, pinchos, ceviches, etc.). They also offer food.The beef, pork, or chicken dishes come with rice, fresh salad, and tortillas.Very good food but unfortunately they don't have enough staff and the service is slowExcellent food and service. Unfortunately, in my experience with the family, they sell liquor without limits, and we had to leave early because one of their customers, already intoxicated, was recording my daughter with his phone. We wanted to avoid conflict, but we pointed this out to the waiter who served us, and he continued arguing with the customer, verifying our comment. I suppose the customers are regulars, given the familiarity they encountered and were treated with. I don't think I'll go there again.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

But if you’re ready for a real taste of El Salvador, Sopón Zacamil is where you go to earn your stripes.The meat was smoky and rich, kind of like a cross between chicken and fish but with its own wild, savory thing going on. Served with tortillas, curtido, and that classic Salvadoran soul.And that wasn’t even all we had:
• 🔥 Parrillada Mixta — a carnivore’s dream: steak, chorizo, shrimp, chicken, cheese.
• 🍤 Ceviche — fresh, zesty, perfectly balanced.
• 🐓 Sopa de Gallina India — like a warm hug from someone’s abuelita.
• 🍌 Fried plantains, rice, tortillas, curtido — all elite.The portions? Generous.
The service? Kind and fast.
The energy? 100% authentic, family-run, and full of love.Good dishes, a variety of drinks, good customer service, and a great atmosphere 👌Excellent place to eat with family or friends, quality serviceWaiters need training.
