This restaurant is delicious, I highly recommend it if you want to try traditional Quechua/Cusco food. Ernesto is super friendly, and Janet's cooking is divine!I can't recommend checking out Sumaqcha enough! Great vibe, great food! Super fun all around :)
We loved this meal! The owner was friendly and fun. It was the only place that we could find fried cuy (instead of roasted) and it was excellent. The yuca frita was so flavorful- the best we’ve ever had. We had citrusy pisco sours and finished the meal with a herbaceous digestive made in-house.
Everything was perfect 👌 the service was charming and delicious
Quiet but the food was amazing. I had the grilled alpaca and it was great. A little sweeter than beef, and not gamey. The banana juice was a big cup too.
Family owned and amazing food! The Alpaca steak and kabobs were delicious. Definitely get the homemade limonada!
Every aspect is handled with care and enthusiasm. The family restaurant makes you feel more than welcome with its service, atmosphere, and amazing food. It's worth visiting and returning.
My boyfriend and I had the best meal in Cusco here. My boyfriend had Anticucho de Corazón and I had grilled chicken breast. Both were delicious. The host who served us was super friendly and helped us well. All in all, highly recommended if you are in Cusco!
The best service we had out of all the restaurants. The food is a work of art and the atmosphere is great 👍 very reasonable pricing for the exceptional quality. And the owner is cool af.
Really recommend the Cuy al Horno, also the staff is very nice.
Amazing restaurant and I must when in Cusco! This is a family run restaurant and the service and food are great. The atmosphere is also very nice, with some traditional items displayed all over. There were a few different vegetarian options that were very tasty.
