I thought the time would never come when I would try a place like this. I'd been wanting to come here for years, and it was the best decision to go on my graduation day.Where do I start? I think I'll best summarize the food by saying that I'd never found a restaurant where I could order everything on the menu multiple times and have it all taste incredible. Everything I ate was on another level. It's clear that even though it's a somewhat forgotten restaurant, we shouldn't be guided by buzzwords. Taiko has maintained quality for years and manages to make all its dishes absolutely exquisite. The best Japanese place you'll find in Caracas is here. You'll have the best ramen in Venezuela here. The owners and kitchen staff have years of experience in all things Japanese cuisine, and that's something that many places that try to claim authentic Japanese cuisine lack.The atmosphere feels like a humble Japanese restaurant. It doesn't need to be extravagant or glamorous; it does what it should be and succeeds perfectly. The service always welcomed us, the waiter with a smile, making good recommendations and explaining the dishes in detail (you can tell he knows the menu inside out). As we left, everyone said their goodbyes.Without a doubt, for me, this is the best restaurant in Caracas. I'll return whenever I can.
