Twins Restaurante

This is a good restaurant and I would definitely go again. Their specialty is meats and the meat flavor and presentation was spot on. Service is above standard for Leon. For those of you that eat a lot of beef I ordered filet mignon but I don’t think that the filet mignon is ever quite really filet mignon when it comes to meat in Leon or Nicaragua in general. The only time I’ve ever been able to get true filet mignon is to order an actual porterhouse and eat the fillet portion from that. I think that the fillet that I got was actually tenderloin rounds, which is fine but I wish that they would specify that. Nonetheless, it was cooked to perfection and was extremely tasty. This is not really a criticizing of the restaurant because many restaurants that I have eaten at in Nicaragua do similar things Just understand when you order something that it may not be exactly what you get. I have ordered ribeye and New York strips and those are the actual pieces of meats but it seems like filet mignon always gets something different. The seafood selections were also good and the salads were very crisp and fresh. I don’t think that you will be disappointed, especially seeing as how the service is great and the atmosphere is nice. I will eat here again.

The place was very nice and cozy, but unfortunately the food was terrible, it has no hint of flavor, the breaded shrimp had no flavor, the potatoes were cut like Diana sticks, the rice was what they scraped from the casserole, the chicken wings give a good portion, but, equally flavorless, the tostones look like a sweet potato empanada and only 2 pieces come in the aforementioned dishes, the attention of the guys is good, but they have to improve in the kitchen area, (the most important) since, the prices are a little high for the quality of the product, they have to be careful with what they serve because instead of shrimp, they added a piece of breaded chicken, (I have the suspicion that it was intentional, because that day they were limited in the amount of breaded shrimp services they had) I hope they improve those details, maybe it was just that day, maybe other people have different experiences and find the food exquisite, but, it is my experience and I comment on it with the hope that those points can be improved.

Excellent meat place! I am proud that someone has the courage to invest in my dear Sutiaba. It is a very nice and cozy place. I attended a friends wedding and the service was impeccable, we loved it. Without a doubt we will return.
